Members

NAHC members maintain a strong presence in 28 states in the US and Canada, giving us a strong platform to promote affordable and adequate housing for vulnerable populations on both a domestic and international scale. Comprised of AIDS housing consumers, researchers, government agencies, and housing/service providers, our members provide an expertise and formidable knowledge of empirical findings, direct service, and legislative analysis that enhance NAHC’s visibility all over the world.

AIDS Housing Consumer Advocacy Network

Founded out of a growing demand by AIDS housing consumers for full engagement in policymaking and advocacy affecting their needs. The AIDS Housing Consumer Advocacy Network is a grassroots effort, designed to respond to that demand, by empowering and training consumer advocates for leadership roles in their communities. Consumer advocates actively participate in research, policymaking and advocacy on critical issues that impact the housing and health options for the most vulnerable in their communities.

Through the generous support of donors, the Network provides AIDS housing consumers with significant opportunities, including service on NAHC’s Board of Directors, engaging with Congressional staff, presenting at briefings, conferences and regional meetings all over the country.
