07 Sep Nadler Amendment to Increase HOPWA Funding Passes House!
We are excited to announce that yesterday the House voted to increase HOPWA funding by $19 million!
Last night, Representative Diaz-Balart (R-FL) offered a series of amendments to the House FY18 omnibus funding bill, including Representative Nadler’s (D-NY) amendment to increase HOPWA funding by $19 million. The House passed the amendments, including the HOPWA increase, by voice vote. Congress is expected to finalize FY18 funding for HOPWA and other federal programs by the end of the year.
A special thank you to Representative Nadler and all who contributed to getting additional funding for HOPWA.
